Schools and colleges are not open until December - Central Government

Amit Kare, Secretary, Higher Education, Ministry of Education, has said that schools and colleges will not be open till next December.
The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Union Ministry of Education met in Delhi. Amit Kare said at the time that the college final exams would be held by the end of this year as planned.
The central government is said to have come to this conclusion as 416 Kendriya Vidyalayas are coming under the restricted area. At the same time zero academic year will not be announced.
Classes are scheduled to be held online, on social radio and television until December, and the announcement is expected in the next 15 days.
As far as state schools are concerned, the final decision will be taken by the respective state governments at the start of the academic year, Education Ministry officials said.
Education:Notice to 28 B.Ed colleges who do not follow the rules
The National Council of Teacher Education has issued notices to 28 colleges, including 3 government B.Ed colleges, for non-compliance with the rules. The action was taken after it was revealed that many unqualified professors, without even basic facilities in private colleges, provided substandard training with principals.
Further, notice has been issued to explain the allegation that the higher education department has been negligent in not appointing professors in Coimbatore, Vellore and Saidapet government colleges for many years.
In addition, the National Council of Teacher Education has decided to revoke the accreditation of 12 private colleges.
